Small and whoo!
The city's small, the university's small. With around 5,500 students, it is one of the smallest independent universities in Germany. And Vechta itself? "... almost metropolitan offers unite here with rural peace and serenity. This combination is what makes our city so attractive," says the Economic Development Agency.
Everything in this city of 33,000 inhabitants can be reached comfortably on foot or by bicycle. And yet the range of shops, restaurants, cafés and pubs is large.
Osnabrück Student Services offers students in Vechta its full range of services: from dormitories to cafeterias and daycare centers.
No matter whether you fancy meat, fish or vegetarian food - in Student Services' Mensa and Bistro in Vechta all guests get their money's worth. Both have already won numerous awards. Click here to find out what is currently available …
