Bridging assistance for students extended again!

The Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) will award grants again from April 2021 to September 2021. Students in a particularly acute financial need and directly dependent on help due to the coronavirus pandemic can apply for the bridging aid again.

Students in need due to the pandemic can apply for bridging aid again. The Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) first introduced the aid in June 2020 and is now extending the financial support for students. Students can submit first-time and follow-up applications (please notice the updated guidelines).

Please pay attention to the following when submitting your application:

- Submit all applications and related documents exclusively via the application portal www.ueberbrueckungshilfe-studierende.de.

- Ensure that all application documents are complete.

- You will be informed by e-mail about any status changes (please check your spam folder).

Since we are expecting a high number of applications, processing may take some time. We kindly ask for your understanding.
